Joshua Coleman joined Winegrad, Hess & Hemlicher, LLC as an associate in 2021. He has over a decade of experience in real estate law and creditors’ rights litigation. Joshua has represented national and regional banks, mortgage lenders, and real estate investors in courts throughout Maryland on issues of lien enforcement, contract litigation, title curative actions, and loss mitigation alternatives. In addition to his previous portfolio, Joshua will expand his practice to include representing homeowner and condominium associations, real estate developers, as well as general civil litigation as an associate of the firm.
Joshua was born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He graduated cum laude from Towson University and attended law school at Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana. Following law school, he served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas G. Ross of the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court.
Prior to joining Winegrad, Hess & Hemlicher, LLC, Joshua worked as an associate for law firms located in downtown Baltimore and Montgomery County, including seven years at Maryland’s largest real estate default servicing firm. He has also written comprehensive legal articles to be utilized by practicing attorneys on the Maryland foreclosure process for Lexis Practice Advisor. His courtroom experience and legal knowledge allows him to provide remarkable legal representation to clients across Maryland from the city to the shore.
In his spare time, he enjoys long distance running, boating and being on the Chesapeake Bay. He lives in the Upper Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore with his wife and daughter.
